Color traits and personality – (The power of color: Part 2)

[Click on image to open application or here]

Color theory is one important element in graphic designing that cannot be missed. Grad student Cortes put together an interactive educational piece -Color in motion – that I think would be nice to share around, especially for amateurs who are seeking advice on matching colors. It is also a fun and interesting way to learn about the different profile in colors.

Though there are only six colors represented in this application, I think it provides good hint on color combination, color traits and how some colors are used around the world. Knowing how to mix and match colors are especially essential when it comes to web designing.

Please refer to Part 1 of the power of color if you have missed it.

Stay tuned for Part three of the power of color as I will introduce the “social media for colors.”
