Visual Resume

I was tempted to do this after viewing some of the works done by 28-year-old designer, social media strategist and keynote speaker – Jesse D. from Canada. This up and coming folk talked about the power of online media and ways to perfect visual presentations. To be frank, I haven’t seen anyone carried it so well and effective.

Many people has begun to utilize online resources to promote themselves – be it their business, organizations, or themselves. Statistics have also shown that these online tools help spread information and ideas more quickly and deliver to a diverse group of audience. Not to forget, the power of social media is undeniable.

I had the same thought like many others who think that it is stupid to throw everything you have out there in the public. They thought the public may “steal” your ideas on certain areas of specialty.

However, Jesse has proved that sharing your works may bring rewards, in manifold. His works showed online has brought to him a new title as well as a passport to several places around the globe. Now, what’s better: to hide your work in a file, or to allow others benefit from your intelligence?
